# Chart Settings

> How to customize chart appearance and behavior on Hextrade.

# Chart Settings

**Chart settings** let you customize how your trading charts look and behave.

## Opening chart settings

* Open **Chart settings** from the sidebar, or
* Use the chart settings / gear icon from the **Trade** page.

## What you can change

### Appearance

* **Theme** — e.g. Dark, Light, TradingView-style, or Professional.
* **Background color** — Use the color picker for a custom background.
* **Chart style** — Candlestick, Line, Area, or Bars.

### Colors

* **Bull / bear** — Up and down candle (or bar) colors.
* **Wicks** — Candle wick color.
* **Grid** — Grid line color and opacity.
* **Labels** — Text and axis label color.

### Chart elements

* **Grid** — Show or hide the grid.
* **Volume** — Show or hide volume bars.
* **Crosshair** — Turn the crosshair on or off.
* **Legend** — Show or hide the legend.
* **Line width** — Thickness of lines (e.g. 1–5 px).

### Text

* **Font size** — Typically 8–20 px.
* **Font family** — e.g. Inter, Arial, Monospace.
* **Label opacity** — How transparent the labels are.

## Saving

Your choices are saved automatically (e.g. in your browser). They apply when you open the trading chart again. Changes apply to the TradingView-style chart used on the platform.
